As a designer and artist, there are two main elements that inform my practice; Story and Process.
I believe that artistic process, in its own way, is a story. It is a form of collaboration between material and maker, and a weaving of each of their narratives together into an artwork.
With inks and watercolours that collaboration is more pronounced. Water has a mind of it’s own and moves pigments in a way that allows for unexpected and uncontrolled results.
