Samer El Farouk
A talented glass artist who studied filmmaking and script writing, based in Cairo and Germany. He met professor Aida Abdel Kareem at El Khanani’s Glass museum in 2007
and was fascinated by her glass artwork & sculptures.
El Farouk studied Egyptian techniques of glass art in Zakaria El Khanani’s glass art school museum for two years, and gradually succeeded to take part of the museum, and worked with professor Aida, El Khanani’s wife for 9 years.
El Farouk managed to display his glass artworks of Pate de Verre at the gallery of Khanani’s glass art museum for 6 years under the name of El Khanani. And later he started his own glass art gallery (Majolica) were he showcased and sold art pieces under his own brand name S.S.F Designs. El Farouk’s artworks are currently being sold in the USA, Paris and most of other European countries.
